B’jorn Muzik Group Limited proudly announced an exciting partnership with City Hall, New Orleans, and Mardi Gras World, that will bring the vibrant spirit and festivities of Mardi Gras to Jamaica.

Grant, alongside City Hall officials, including Director of International Relations Rosien Pema Sanga, Deputy Director of Arts and Culture Alana Harris, and Mayor of New Orleans Latoya Cantrell, has worked tirelessly to make this collaboration a resounding success.

The first Mardi Gras parade celebration in Jamaica is scheduled to take place from February 21 to 23, 2025 and promises an exhilarating experience for locals and international visitors alike, but they will proceed with a Mardi Gras-themed paint and water party for February 2024 after which Mardi Gras will be integrated into the Carnival calendar in Jamaica.

Recognised as one of the most dynamic and energetic cultural celebrations in the world, Mardi Gras is synonymous with lively parades, elaborate costumes, and amazing live music.

Through the visionary efforts of Grant and the support of City Hall, New Orleans, Mardi Gras will now be an annual event in Jamaica.

This partnership aims to foster cultural exchange, promote tourism, and showcase the rich heritage of both New Orleans and Jamaica. By introducing the captivating spirit of Mardi Gras to Jamaica the organisers are confident in attracting enthusiasts from across the globe to experience the unique fusion of Caribbean and Louisiana cultures.

“Mardi Gras is a celebration like no other, and we are thrilled to be able to share this extraordinary experience with our brothers and sisters of Jamaica,” said Rosine Pema Sanga, director of international Relations. “Our partnership with Bjorn Grant and the B’jorn Muzik Group Limited is a significant milestone that will undoubtedly enhance cultural unity and economic opportunities between our two vibrant cities.”

“Mardi Gras is an essential part of the fabric of our city and is rooted in our culture and history, and we are excited to extend its influential impact beyond New Orleans,” said Mayor LaToya Cantrell. “The City of New Orleans is no stranger to partnership, and we are always excited to share our vibrant culture with others. This Administration looks forward to working closely with Bjorn Grant and the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport in Jamaica to ensure that this partnership is strong and brings joy, entertainment and economic benefits to both of our cities.”
