It was non-stop excitement at Chris Gayle’s 40 Shades of Gayle 4.0 Retro Style beach party at Pearly Beach in St Ann last Saturday.

The cherry on top of the former batsman was the launch of his very own rum brand.

“There were many great highlights to the party; I honestly can’t say there was only one. I mean, it was the launch of my rum brand Triple Gold Rum, offering both a white overproof rum and gold underproof rum. My brother Usain Bolt celebrated with my team, and my friends flew in from all over the world to support me. My dad was able to celebrate with me as well, which was heart-warming. My custom-made retro outfit was the talk for everyone,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

Proceeds from the event will benefit children through his Chris Gayle Foundation.

Music at Saturday’s bash was provided by DJ Kurt Riley, ZJ Johnny Kool, DJ Snoop, DJ Supa Hype, and Richie Feelings.

“I’m very pleased and happy about the outcome. A big thank you to my team at Triple Century and Contractor Music Marketing for getting the word out there globally. Much thanks to everyone who came out and supported me for a worthy cause of The Chris Gayle Foundation and the sponsors for making it a success as well,” Gayle added.

In terms of his business venture expansion, the now recording artiste said that his rum line is aimed at enhancing party experiences.

“If you know me as the Universe Boss, you know I love to party and what’s a party without a good drink? It was actually during the pandemic I randomly said it to a friend of mine and he said why not. From there, it’s been history; two solid years of hard work,” Gayle said.
