Bad weather in the forecast has forced the government to cancel its International Reggae Day outdoor concert which was set to take place in Port Royal on Thursday (July 1).

The announcement was made in a release by the entertainment ministry late Monday (June 28).

According to the ministry, the concert will be replaced by the world premiere of the docufilm ‘Dennis Emmanuel Brown: The Crown Prince of Reggae.

The film will be showed at the Little Theatre, with the ministry noting that the event would be in keeping with the requirements of the Disaster Risk Management Act and its prescribed capacity limit for indoor venues.
