International reggae recording artiste Da’Ville has made his way up the US iTunes Reggae Singles Chart with his latest song Only You.

Produced by newcomer Jenelle Alexia from A’Legends Productions, the track was released on Friday, May 10, 2024.

Only You debuted at #31 on Tuesday, May 14 then climbed to #25 before settling at #23 by midnight.

The track’s success mere days after its release can be attributed to Da’Ville’s recent appearance onstage at the Marcia Griffiths and Friends concert in Miramar, Florida, on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12.

The reggae crooner gave a stunning performance alongside the legendary songstress herself as well as solo performances of his hit tracks.

Da’Ville had the crowd eating out of his hands with his outstanding performance.

The artiste maintains his love of singing for his female audiences, but has moved with the times by using modern social media platforms to aid in his promotional campaigns and staying relevant to this generation and those of the future.

While a single by itself, Only You was recorded on the highly successful Bankx rhythm which not only debuted in the Top 10 Reggae Albums Chart but also had all seven tracks hit the Top 200 Reggae Singles Chart. The album also garnered a #60 placing in Sweden for streaming on Apple Music.

Born Orville Thomas in Kingston, the former member of the group ARP with hits like Lions Sleep Tonight and featured on Beenie Man’s Storm (On & On) track, Da’Ville has seen success from the 90s era, knowing he should never be complacent in his fame.

He has remained vigilant in his pursuit of international acclaim with his growing catalogue.
