Sean “Contractor” Edwards has just picked up his fourth Billboard plaque for albums he worked on as executive producer and marketer.

The latest project for which he has been awarded is Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica Reloaded.

In addition to the Tropical House Cruises series, he was also received a plaque for a single named Dream with Ghanaian artiste Shatta Wale, which peaked at #16 on the Canadian Billboard digital songs sales chart.

He put up his first album in 2018 and has not looked back since. He currently does marketing for Capleton, Gramps Morgan and Morgan Heritage.

He has projects in the pipeline, including a Chris Brown collaboration with Kali Ranks and a single with Chris Gayle.

Said Contractor: “I am very passionate about what I do, and I work very hard. Reggae music is one of the strongest genres in the world and we need to work hard to keep it at a high standard. We see some of the younger artistes making their mark internationally… we need more of that, and we need to see the established artistes reclaiming their place in the wider music world.”

“Whenever I do an album I don’t just do it to win awards or get plaques. I try to put out the best music possible, and so far that formula has worked for me. Still, the music world should look out, because there is so much more to look forward to,” he shared.
