Jamaican football star Leon Bailey is certainly enjoying being a father. His son celebrated his first birthday today (June 14) and Bailey took to his social media to send a loving tribute.

The Bayer Leverkusen winger shared a video reel of pictures taken over the course of his son’s life so far. The adorable video was accompanied by a snippet of the track ‘Why I Love You‘ by Major.

He captioned the post; “thanks for giving me 365 days of boundless joy and happiness!!! My little superstar, my king, my hero, Happy first Birthday Daddy loves you forever.”

Leo Cristiano was born on June 14, 2020, to Leon and his partner  Stephanie Nembhard. Following his birth last year Leon had labeled his son as “God’s Greatest Gift“.

They subsequently christened young Leo Cristiano last December in a private ceremony that was attended by a small group of family and friends. 

Recently Leo accompanied his parents on a trip to Dubai as Leon continues to recuperate from a strong and productive season in the German Bundesliga.
